PIGGING ACCESSORIES

Boar Pipeline offers a variety of essential accessories for pigging operations.

dust bag 01.jpg

DUST BAG

Dust bags reduce environmental pollution that may occur during pigging operations by catching pigs, dust and debris. These range in diameter from 12” to 48” and as long as 150’.

pig pole 01b.jpg

PIG POLE
The pig pole is specifically designed and manufactured for pigging. Equipped on the pig pole is a 4" ram tip for pushing and a hook for easy pig retrieval. Aluminum construction reduces the possibility of sparks. For portability, the pig pole breaks down into three 6 ft. sections that are secured together with pins.

PIG NET

The pig net is designed to be securely attached to the pipe for the purposes of catching the pig as it comes out of the line.

DEWATERING BAG

By attaching the bag to the discharge end of the pipe, water passes through the bag, silt, dirt, sand and other pollutants are trapped and filtered so only water escapes to the ground.

TRACKING EQUIPMENT

CDI's new SoniTrack acoustic pig tracking system is a powerful computer-controlled audio amplifier which allows the operator to quickly and easily listen for pigs moving along a pipeline over great distances.

TRAXALL 500 can track industry-standard 22Hz transmitters with signal strength represented as scrolling rows of LEDs. This intuitive user interface means that the TRAXALL 500 receiver requires almost no training or support, lowering the total cost of ownership of the system.

CDI's well-established "T-Series" of transmitters provides operators with a robust solution to everyday pig tracking. These transmitters mount on pigs 2" and larger and emit an industry-standard 22Hz electromagnetic frequency. Pulse patterns can be adjusted to provide a distinctive pattern and to conserve battery power.

BOAR CUP
Manufactured from polyurethane, the Boar Cup is designed for maximum abrasive scraping action. Ideal for substances that adhere to pipe wall.

standard_cup.jpg

STANDARD CUP
The Standard Cup is ideal for general use for pipeline cleaning and maintenance.

conical_cup.jpg

CONICAL CUP

The Conical Cup is flexible enough to pass through pipe of varying ID’s while keeping seal through irregularities.

wire_01.jpg

FLAT WIRE RING BRUSH
The wire brush is ideal for aggressive cleaning and can be installed on most steel mandrel pigs.

cutter_disc.jpg

CUTTER DISC
The Cutter Disc is designed to cut through heavy debris such as sludge, scale, or wax. The unique angled pattern of the outer edges allows debris and deposits to be scraped off and pass through channels. The cutter disc can be installed on most steel mandrel pigs.

spacer_disc_01.jpg

SPACER DISC
Spacer discs are designed to create space between cups, discs, brushes and other accessories that are installed on the steel mandrel. The space between each component allows the urethane parts to flex. The spacer disc can be installed on most steel mandrel pigs.

SEAL DISC
The seal disc is used to align the center of the pig inside the pipe and helps scraping and cleaning.

guide_disc_01.jpg

GUIDE DISC
Guide discs are thicker and harder than seal discs and help push the pig through the pipeline.

gauge_plate.jpg

GAUGE PLATE
Gauge plates are used during the gauging processes where pipeline irregularities can be detected. Anomalies are revealed by causing dents and other damages to the gauge plate.
